Human cloning is the technology that people thinking in mind. If it will be success on human, they might have the good effect. However, every coin has two sides; the human cloning is so expensive and it have high failure rate. “At least 95% of mammals cloned have resulted in failure” (Gillion). So, this technology is defiantly not safe for human and there is illegal to do the experience on a human life under eighteen. Also, this technology might cause the population grow up faster which is a bad news for the earth. More people mean more food needed, more land for house, and more place to work. For now, this technology should be baned because people actually not need it because only the rich people can do that and the rich people have enough money to buy medicine to recovery health.

Cloning an entire person may blatantly come across as wrong, though society is still figuring out whether or not it is okay to clone an individual organ. I say, you cannot be against one and not the other. I believe it is wrong, no matter the purpose. Sure, to cure a mother with cancer sounds like a no brainer. But, in the end it will do more harm than good. Though, the beginning would seem great, with little effect, (because this, at first, would be unreachable to most.) the problem lays in it becoming a normal, very accessible thing. Later on down the road of this earth, we will no longer see biological diversity, which will lead to complications in birth. We eventually will see an extraordinarily low death rate, life threating diseases will be at an all-time low, and aging will be nothing, if we are able to simple replace what is falling apart. This earth has an amazing balance, who are we to change that? Our God has taken dieses, and sickness, difference and unfortunate and has gone before it to create utter beauty and to bring glory to Himself.

    1. I completely agree and every level. I especially like what you had to say about cloning an organ being the same as cloning a whole person. It's the same to me as well.

Also, how boring would it be if there were multiples of us?

    3. I agree human cloning will destroy the balance of the nature. Although the cells comes from adult’s body, they start the same way as the infants. But those cloning human are still against the biological way. Cloning is the creature, it cannot equal to the nature.

Human Cloning? Is it even a thing?
Throughout the first three discussions or debates, I tried my hardest to take a more progressive and passive stance. I allowed a little more tolerance into my opinion than my conservative background would normally allow. I did this to take the less popular side as well as to challenge my own long lasting values, in order to instill growth. Will I take a more liberal approach to the discussion of human cloning? Definitely not. To argue for human cloning is very silly. The Health Research Funding (HRF) says, “One of the great ethical debates of our era is the subject of human cloning” (“Pros and Cons of Human Cloning”). I would have to disagree. Those trying to defend this concept are either arguing just to argue, or they are those who are fueled by personal ambition, in this field purely for scientific advancement. I am neither. Therefore, I will take the obvious side and say that human cloning is ethically wrong, killing human diversity, and breading conformity.

I don’t think human cloning will be allowed right now. Human cloning is not perfected at this point, it goes against strong religious beliefs and it may cause more racial conflict. One of the goals of human cloning is to make the copied cells and tissues be individual to benefit those people who are infertile, unable to have children. But human cloning is still against the human culture, because the creature cannot be called the sibling, daughter, or son; it is only a creature. In most of the countries, human cloning is legally banned. Natural people sometimes cannot accept those special people. “Another downside to human cloning is the ability to divide people. Clones that are not treated as humans can lead to division and unrest.”(Editor) Although the cells of a clone are from an adult and it starts life when it is an infant, natural humans still cannot accept the clones. Humans compare each other, natural humans and clones may lead the human history into a conflict. Above of all, I still believe that people will not accept the human cloning now, it is not only to mentally accept those clones, but also nobody has one hundred percent ability to deal with the future problem about human clones.

Nowadays, human cloning become a new gene research. “ Despite scientists being capable of cloning humans, it is still highly unlikely that procedure will even come to be due to ethical reasons” ( Dana). Although the new cloning baby looks like a baby, it is from an adult cell. We don’t know what will happen on this new creature. Also, the ethics of cloning human are questionable. Do they have the human wisdom? What will they think when they can’t find their parents. The main idea of human cloning is finding a way to solve the human disease. We are not sure that our creatures are not beast. The most serious question is what are the definition of cloning human, human or animal? If we define it as animal, why the animal have all the same structure as human. If we define it as human, all men are created equal. Why they need to be used in research. Moveover, the Bible says God creates the human. Now, human can create human by themselves. Is that mean human are almost the same as God? If we can’t answer these questions, we cannot do the human cloning.

    Human Cloning
Human cloning, just like any other issue concerning the modification and manipulation of genetics, is highly debated among some of the most renowned scientists in the world and anyone who is capable of comprehending the sciences behind it. “While some believe that human cloning tantamounts (sic) to tinkering with nature, others swear by its benefits.” (Human) This is where the ethical values of scientists and other people in the word alike are put to test. Where do we draw the line? It is not only a difficult question to answer but the advocates of this scientific advancement make it hard to decide by claiming that if successful, human cloning could lead to the discovery of cures for many diseases and genetic conditions. As for me I would like to see some proof of success before believing that this “radical” scientific maneuver can truly benefit society.

  9. The idea of human cloning... It's quite crazy to think how far we have come humans isn't it? To think that within that before this century ends, we might actually meet a cloned human. At first glance, the idea of human cloning seems pretty cool, but to get down and nit pick every detail out of human clothing, it's not as glamorous as it seemed at first huh? "Human cloning is the creation of a genetically identical copy of an existing, or previously existing, human being or growing cloned tissue from that individual". Human cloning is illegal in the majority of countries around the globe because it is not fully tested and remains unsafe for "specimens" that have undergone the cloning process and that is one of the reasons why I am currently against it. Another reason is it eliminates one of the most key things that makes us humans, our individual uniqueness. Look around you, have you ever met anyone who looks exactly like you with every detail in place? Being human is what makes us unique, that fact that we are all different both physically and mentally makes each and everyone of us special. It is mainly due to that reason why I am totally against human cloning.

    How Far is too Far?
Humans believe they are the top of the food change because of our intelligence, but when does our intelligence for survival become our very own destruction? From time and time again you hear of people trying creating life by defying the rules of life. One of these fantasies is cloning. What our society forgets is we aren’t god, we forget that everyone has the right to live no matter how they came into this world. Recently, I finished the book “Frankenstein” and some of the problems in the book I believe relates strongly to this matter. Dr. Frankenstein created a creature and his life fell apart after that. Frankenstein played god and got burned because the rules of life isn’t supposed to be ruled by man. “One man's life or death [,] were but a small price to pay for the acquirement of the knowledge which I sought, for the dominion I should acquire and transmit over the elemental foes of our race. (Letter 4.21)” said Mr. Walton. If life was so invaluable then why do we try so hard to survive? Human cloning takes the first step into Mr. Walton’s quote. Once we create a life, they become living whether they are made by parents love or by machine under a telescope, both are living and both should have the rights to live on earth. If a clones death heals or helps another does that still make it right to take their life away. Over time the down falls overlap the good sides. Yes we can save lives but in the process we take another. Yes we create opportunity for infertile families to have children but the side effect is the family tree health gets weaker and weaker. In the end every positive seems to have a greater negative, so no human cloning is not worth its risks.

    Human Cloning: Helpful or Harmful?
Human cloning can be defined as, “creating a copy of another human that does not involve any sexual reproduction using eggs and sperm.” (Cloning Fast Facts) This future technology has become a very real prospect as scientists discover more about the benefits and drawbacks of cloning humans. In recent years, Scottish scientists fabricated a cloned sheep named “Dolly” that brought the world one step closer to human cloning. Although, cloning has the potential to treat diseases and help with neurological disorders through stem cell research, the threats outweigh the positives of this project. Animal cloning has often resulted in offspring with disorders, weak immune systems, and tumorous growths. Other animal test subjects have undergone premature death. Because of the fact that cloning has shown many physical consequences and has proved detrimental to the subject’s health, I believe it is unethical to practice cloning on humans in any circumstance.

    Human Cloning

In a world with so much advanced technology and science, it is hard to be shocked when you hear about human cloning. Personally, I would prefer that scientist do not clone humans because it seems like it would be a waste of money, take our attention off subjects that really matter, and it's weird. It cost thousands and thousands of dollars to create clones of humans and in the end, the clone dies at a very young age because of its weak clone immune system. "It is a human experiment doomed to failure" (Dixon) Before we get into questions about clones, can we answer the questions already at hand? Like who is going to be president? How can we stop global warming? How can we put an end to ISIS? Figuring out how to treat clones is beyond even first world problems. And human cloning is extremely weird. Does the clone have a soul? People would be so horrible to clones anyways. Humans don't even treat real humans right. Creating clones does nothing but create problems.

    Human Cloning
Human cloning is the process of taking human genes and reproducing them to make a similar copy of a human. The misconception about human cloning is the idea that this process produces exact copies of human beings when in fact in does not. In fact, the idea is to not produce an exact copy, but to make a different human, similar to the first, but absent of all the deformities and negative aspects of the original human. This sounds like a good idea to create better, healthier humans, but it does not fix the problem(s) with the original. The other side of human cloning, besides cloning the entire human body, scientists are able to clone just human organs. This way, if the original human is missing a working vital organ, doctors and other people in the medical field would be able to help the patient by using this copy of an organ to help keep them alive. This sounds well and all, but the matter of the fact is that the success rate of these procedures are low, the procedures are extensive, and expensive. There has not been any cloning with humans, but the “Success rates with animals are low and more than 90 percent of attempts have failed” (Kitchen). With that low of a percentage, a 10% success rate, with these clones to tend to have a weaker immune system and are more likely to have tumorous growth, they do not live long. The technology is not at the stage to successfully clone a human, and with as many problems as we have with cloning, I do not think it wise to clone humans as there are also no advantageous gains by cloning humans.

Nowadays, as bio-technology has been developed, human cloning is issuing in science society. According to the information about human cloning, “It is creating a copy of another human that does not involve any sexual reproduction using eggs and sperm” (Zaykoski). By using this technology, people can obtain infertility treatment, and also replace the defective genes, which means people can reinforce their weak abilities too. However, negative possibilities are also existing in this field. Unfortunately, as the technology hasn’t been advanced enough yet, it has low success rate. Moreover, there can be disorders in off springs, and also pregnancy can fail too. In my perspective, although this field hasn’t been developed enough to fully commercialize and has lots of risk to handle, people need to have open mind about this field and give more attention, as they have high potential to affect beneficially in human society.

While there are several arguments to be made for both sides, I strongly agree with the statement that human cloning can bring huge benefits to all living people. This is not only because people can have faster recovery from their injury but also because infertile couples could have their own baby. Some people might argue that human cloning can divide among people. "Clones that are not treated as humans can lead to division and unrest" (“Top”). But it is clear that "Human cloning also has the potential to help cure certain disorders. Through therapeutic cloning treating various diseases and disorders can be done by replacing damaged organs and tissues within the body" (“Top”). and "Human cloning has the ability to make it possible for couples that were once not able to have their own children to finally have babies without having to use sperm donation or surrogacy" (“Top”). Consequently, human cloning can bring a huge change to our life.

Human cloning is a long sense debated topic that is quickly turning into a potential reality instead of what was previously seen as a fantasy or science fiction. Sense it is now posing to be a new medical and technological endeavor, it has also become one of sever controversy and debate; the thought of creating organic material that considers with that of your own genetics and make up is quite outstanding, but the thought of creating an entire organism that has no real birth or human attachment is a whole other nightmare. Just like anything controversial, there is good and bad reasons and approaches, that is what makes it controversial. for the reasons on why, I ask, at what social cost? Those who don’t see the sever cost and damage to entire human cloning, is ignorant and blind. It is unnatural and wrong. to produce a lab baby that is in no way going to be really similar to the one in whose genes it carries, not having family or parents, no sense of identity. That person would be more like and robot, alien, animal, then you might think. Our roots identity, and they should never be tubes, wire snd cables. As far as organ cloning, I will say this, the more you prolong death, the more you prevent with life, and life around you. Death is needed and natural, at what cost are we avoiding it.

Human cloning can be defined as, “the creation of a genetically identical copy of an existing, or previously existing, human being or growing cloned tissue from that individual” (Science Daily). The cloning of humans, as scientists have discovered, has many benefits and drawbacks. Curing baldness, curing infertility, and therapeutic cloning, which has the potential to treat several degenerative diseases, specifically nervous system diseases, organ failure and spinal cord diseases, are a few of the possible benefits. Some drawbacks are the weakening of the immune system in the clone, the cost of cloning, and the possibility of an early death of the clone. Although the cloning of humans does have drawbacks, I believe that the benefits of cloning outweigh the drawbacks and I, though I wouldn’t want myself cloned, wouldn’t stand in the way of human cloning.

Human cloning, a topic widely debated between scientists and religious leaders. Should humans have the right to create clones? Human cloning could benefit the world in many ways if it is done correctly. Anything from being bald, to leukemia could be cured. "Leukemia. We should be able to clone the bone marrow for children and adults suffering from leukemia. This is expected to be one of the first benefits to come from cloning technology." (HumanCloningFoundation). While most people believe human cloning is creating a whole new human with the same genetic makeup as the donor, most people don't know that human cloning could be used to remove unhealthy cells, organs that do not function properly or even heal blindness. Organ donors are hard to find, and even when an organ becomes available, it is not a guarantee that it will be a perfect fit, so now, scientists have the opportunity to make new organs, that will be a guaranteed fit, and help those that need help most. Human cloning is a very controversial topic, it will never be fully be supported or rejected, but if humans allow human cloning, it could help many people who have disorders they can not control.
